Here are some of my most recent bodies i have done. We are heavy into the SCT's so i try and go for a more traditional paint job on these shells. LMK what you think.

I really like the first one, I almost think you could go one shade darker on the shading around the stars. Also, the decal placement on the hood is perfect, I know its not painting but that always drives me nuts to see good work covered up. Adding a graphic to the roof would make the overall design flow a little bit better but overall I think those are both pretty much perfect for SC bodies

i agree, sticker placement looks great. i know what yer sayin mike, ive seen some custom shells done only to be plastered with stickers..whats the point.
anyway, nice simple designs with good colors and clean lines.
next time perhaps push the boat out and paint the logos. give it a go, you might suprise yourself.
or if you dont fancy cutting them by hand yourself then there are always plenty of rc painters and sign shops that can do them on a plotter for you.

Thank you for your kind words guys. As far as stencils i am looking at purchasing a small home plotter.
I have been looking at CraftRobo and Roland and also looking at some programs for cutting vinyl just
not sure which direction to go i dont wanna break the bank.

Check USCutters Ebay store.
You can find some pretty sweet deals there.
I highly recommend the USCutter PCut plotter.
I own one of these and it does a nice job without breaking the bank.
You can also check out the LaserCut and the MH Series cutters.
I believe they carry the CraftRobo as well.
Quick link for you.

For software I would recommend Adobe Illustrator as your design software and SignCut X2 Pro as the cutting program.
Most of the units sold from USCutters can be purchased with the X2 software or come with another program called SignBlazer.

I use the Craft Robo with Robo Master software. I do like it but have nothing to compare it to. I also have Adobe Illustrator, but I need a lesson on how to use it.
Those bodies look familiar TRX.. haha nice jobs. If I was to criticize you, Id say go a little darker around the stars (like mentioned above). They look nice and subtle but almost cant see em, especially at 30mph.
